On 2nd Feb I contacted DBC's online chat to confirm that the position of the waste on a 1m square shower tray was 25cm from one edge (as was and still is shown on the website) I checked this because I didn't want it central to the tray and was assured by a helpful man that the drawings shown were correct.
Happy that I'd made the right choice I put in my order and quickly received confirmation asking me to book a delivery date - which I did.
That date arrived and no delivery so I tried to contact the company. The phone wasn't being answered, originally blaming the weather so I tried the online chat. Four times I was told that I was no.15 in the queue and each time it reached 4pm and the service stopped for the day before it got to my turn. A combined total of almost five hours wasted. I filled in the online contact form explaining my situation and got a confirmation email say my enquiry was important to them and would be answered with 48 hours. It wasn't so I tried again and it still wasn't.
After ten days of this I decided to leave a review on Trust pilot. Within hours the customer complaints dept. at DBC were in touch asking me to remove my review. I spoke to a man called Ben who eventually conceded that it was a mistake to allow people to book a delivery date that the company knew was impossible to keep and promised that there were no delays on delivery of my shower tray, that it would be despatched in three days and that I would receive tracking details by Thursday at the latest.
I trusted him and removed my review.
Two weeks later I'd still heard nothing. Cue more attempts at contacting the company and another ignored online enquiry.
Eventually, five weeks after my order I got a message saying my delivery had been cleared by customs and would be with me the next day. Which left me no time to arrange for someone to be at home to deal with the kerbside delivery that DBC insist on.
Fortunately the delivery driver was prepared to help my son move the tray onto our property while I was at work and he accepted the shipment as "delivered with minor damage" as DBC had advised.
I arrived home later to find a beautiful shower tray with a centrally positioned waste. The main reason I'd decided to buy from the company in the first place was that I'd be promised it was 25cm from one edge.
I'm not going to try to contact them again, I haven't got weeks to waste on an ignorant, deceitful and incompetent company.
Hopefully, I will never have to deal with them again and I urge everyone else to AVOID them completely.
I ordered a new radiator and valves 4 weeks ago - I'm still waiting! I have the rad but not the valves so I cannot install it - so I still can't put my heating on! It is Dec 1st tomorrow - it's flipping freezing in my house!
Do LuxPad care?? YEAH RIGHT! Despite several phone calls - (be prepared to hold on the line for 2-3 hours to speak to anyone if you're lucky!!) and a lengthy online chat with the promise of immediate delivery on 3 occasions over the last 4 weeks- they just IGNORE you as soon as you've hung up or gone off line!
So potential customers of LUXPAD - unless you like to give your money away DONT BUY FROM THESE ROBBING BUGGERS - seriously, get back on Google and find a better company because you can't do WORSE than these Luxury Gold Diggers who just take your money and hide and play peekaboo when its suits them!

Our order didn’t arrive and despite trying to contact them via phone, email and live chat for several days we still do not know what has happened to our order. Thankfully we paid by credit card so we can claim our money back and order from a proper company. We can only assume this is a scam company.
Quick delivery, well made product and easy to install.
Product has been in use for a few months and still looks great (hopefully it will continue to do so for many more).

After ordering a towel rail for a client who found this online through Designer Bathrooms. I had my doubts.
After 4 weeks and a delivery booked in and due Friday 14 May, last week, I waiting in all day until 18:00 hrs and to no surprise, nothing turned up.
The unit was meant to be fitted on Saturday 15 May, meaning I would have to postpone and advise my Client of the delay.
I recommended them to buy a different unit from Victoria-plum.
I sent an email on Friday 14 May after staying on the phone for more than 40 minutes before the lines closed, the usual repetition of a recorded voice ‘your on hold and your business is important to us, yarder yarder…..
No apologies or email nor a call back to confirm my request for refund via email..
Sent another email 17 May, basically stating they have until Wednesday 19 May 2021 to issue a refund or I will speak to my credit card company and take the matter up with the bank, to get my money back.
**** UPDATE **** 18/05/2021
I received a humble call from one of the Customer representatives [Ben] on the 18/05/2021, he was most apologetic and advised that the order placed had been lost in the system.
It is worth noting, that this company as others do, deal direct with some manufacturers, whereby the order clicked online gets sent in to the 3 Party, e.g., Designer Bathrooms and then directly out from the manufacturers' depo, not Designer Bathroom's own warehouse.
I understand from the call I had, this is where the issue lay and at the fault of the manufacturer, its stock control and computer management system was stating the order had been processed and was delivered.
Late afternoon on 18/05/2021, I received an email with a credit note [screen shot] which is due to be sent back onto my account in 24 hours.
I would suggest, if you are considering purchasing any item from Designer Bathrooms, call them first, as its not clear what items are stocked and what comes from the manufacturer, if you are in the trade, it's definitely worth inquiring and ask for a lead in time, Hopefully this will prevent this miss hap and my poor experience from occurring again for future potential clients.
Note: the order was for a Reina Design radiator and the culprit... I had a look at the google reviews and you should too before you consider.

This company is an absolute joke. After numerous missed delivery dates I am still waiting for a refund for goods I cancelled before dispatch. I was told to leave a positive review on trust pilot for exchange of my refund! I refused and here I am still waiting for my money.
Numerous calls and emails are not responded to! Stay well clear of these cowboys!

SURPRISE SURPRISE I got an email response immediately, if I knew all it would take is a honest review I would've done this 2 months ago. Ben thanks for saying the refund promised will not be realised due to my honest review, sorry I cannot take it down. Next step : My bank!
BEN - I HAVE YOUR EMAILS AND A RECORDING OF AN HOUR CONVERSATION OF WHAT WAS PROMISED AS A REFUND. DONT LIE ON A PUBLIC FORUM.
Easy to order online, and managed to change my delivery date without any problems thanks to the excellent customer service team. Will definately use them again.

I am still waiting for delivery of my radiators ordered on 24/12/20 despite being told, as per my first review 24/2/21 that they would be delivered 'tomorrow'. No updates since Feb and we are now heading for the middle of March. Very disappointing and frustrating! I have one vertical radiator sitting in my hallway and cannot have it fitted until I receive the other two horizontals.
